tulle without the tutus
I’ve been sitting on this one for a minute, but I’m currently procrastinating and don’t feel like reviewing the questions that I just finished, so here ya go.
Inspired by Lorde’s Melodrama [tour costumes](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/bd/13/a5/bd13a5a8a624653d994a19085f2c0952.jpg), Degas, [Rihanna](http://hausofrihanna.com/rihanna-molly-goddard-blue-tulle-dress/), over-the-top runway fashion, [Cher](https://i.pinimg.com/564x/49/31/e6/4931e6397fb5027099215f4208c2f8a5.jpg), and the closet full of tutus from old dance recitals that I wouldn’t let my mom get rid of until like last year, here’s an album that celebrates the most feminine, most extra, most impractically fabulous fabric out there.
I tried to find stuff that’s feminine and bold but not too girly or sexy, in unusual shapes and styles, that look like they’d be fun to wear. I have no idea what practical purpose this inspo board serves, as almost none of these are appropriate for my (or most people’s) daily life but whatevs.
Anyway, hopefully y’all are inspired to wear something fun, something ridiculous, something super over-the-top just because you can. Just imagine yourself rolling through the city at night in a convertible, with your tulle sleeves flowing out behind you as you raise your hands to the sky and sing along to one of those summer songs.
Anyway, here it is: [tulle without the tutus](https://www.pinterest.com/ktmass/tulle-without-the-tutus/)
