soft grunge/artsy indie look?

soft grunge/artsy indie look?

hello ffa! so maybe the title isn’t 100% accurate, as i’m not sure what to call this style. but i’m going for this kinda boyish, grungy but not too punk-type look. some brights/pastels mixed with lots of neutrals. think “pretentious art student who listened to one mac demarco single” i guess

here’s an [album]( of the pics i use for inspiration. any tips/stores with this aesthetic/etc are welcome, thanks!

That’s streetwear to a T! Check out r/womensstreetwear or just regular r/streetwear for tons of inspo, guides or ideas, etc.

As someone who went to art school, you look like you belong in an art school in this outfit.

Where can I get a pair of creepers like the ones in picture #15 (the pic with the Radiohead t-shirt)? I’ve always loved those and never owned a pair.

Have you tried looking into the art hoe aesthetic? I don’t think it describes every outfit here but it’s a tumblr style that’s like oversized sweaty + vintage mom jeans, and other thrifted vintage-y looks. It seems to be combined with more soft grunge elements in your album. I see a lot of similar outfits on tumblr. I can’t give you any specific blogs but you could check tags like “art hoe” to get more inspiration.

Also, it’s worth trying to look around in depop I think? I feel like the demographics that have those aesthetic blogs on tumblr and the users on depop overlap quite a bit, so you will probably find a lot of things for sale there that match that aesthetic.

Love this – a little more color/pastels than what I currently wear, but I like the whole vibe.
