Indiana Jones: Temple of Doom

Indiana Jones: Temple of Doom

*Indiana Jones. I always knew some day you’d come walking back through my door. I never doubted that. Something made it inevitable.*

It’s been about a year since I posted the [Indiana Jones Inspiration Album](, and since I’ve still been collecting images for my own inspiration, I thought I’d create a sequel post! Indiana Jones: Temple of Doom.

Important aspects:

– tweed, linen, leather

– loose shapes, belts, button ups

– sturdy materials, earth tones, casual cool

– hats, satchels, boots

– dirt, sense of adventure, desire to put things in museums

[Here]( is the link to the album

And [here]( is my pinterest board, which is a bit more loosely curated.

Last time I posted I was overwhelmed with the love I received in return! The comments were full of cool images and boards, so this post is also a thank you to the community!

Yes! I love all the combinations of different shades of brown and grey, and Amelia Earhart snuck in there near the end. (And I literally swooned at #32.)

I think this is a really easy aesthetic to capture, especially a lot of the pants silhouettes.

As an archaeologist, I appreciate this on a spiritual level.

Love this! What perfect timing, I just watched ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’ a couple of days ago (and I’m obsessed with Karen Allen’s outfit with the red pants).

I actually just figured out that this is my style. It happened on accident. And I love it.

Nice! That was much less “colonial chic” than I was expecting.

My style goals are to look like a cross between Indiana Jones and a witch.

    That is an awesome album.

But man, as someone attracted to women, it is very hard to tell sometimes if I want to dress in certain aesthetics, or just want women who dress in them.

This is also my “on a spiritual level” style, although I’d need some tropical prints in the mix. Sadly the most rugged thing I do atm is geocaching.

Where would I find socks like the ones in [8]( I think that style of long/taller socks would go well with mom jeans and converse.

I actually bought my husband [the official Indy jacket from the company that made them for the films](! It looks fantastic, and is very buttery leather.

I NEED that brown leather bomber jacket a few images down. I know it’s from a Crate & Barrel ad so…if anyone has seen anything similar out there toss a link my way!
